This glass is astounding. When put on the end of your zoom lens (made for Fujinon, untested on Canons), I could see no loss of sharpness, edge to edge nor chromatic aberration. No wonder it costs $3K USD new. Also, it is a rectinlinear conversion lens so lines stay straight. ALSO SELLING A FUJINON 0.5X FISHEYE and THE SD VERSION OF THIS ADAPTER IN OTHER AUCTIONS. The Fujinon WAT-H85 is a 0.7x Wide Angle Attachment Lens offering a wider angle of view to a range of Fujinon broadcast lenses with 85mm filter threads. The WAT-H85 provides a 30% larger image than the user's stock lens without affecting F-stop. It converts only the wide end of the lens, so no zoom-through is possible. When this attachment lens is in use, focusing must be done in macro (Back Focus) mode. CONDITION: Close to new, really. Glass is flawless. Plastic front and back caps have rub marks from the case, handling, etc. Barrel might have the slightest bit of wear to the metal where I mounted to the lens the few times I put this on to test. Everything you are seeing in the photos are REFLECTIONS. ADDITIONAL NOTE: This item has a FIXED 85mm Clamp Adapter Ring unlike my SD version (also for sale) which has a back thread of 95mm. This means you cannot put this on a lens with a smaller front unless you jury-rigged a ring to give you the 85mm diameter. Also, remember that your zoom lens MUST use Back Focus/Macro to focus and only at its widest setting.
